InB:Paxis has established a strong asset base and is vertically integrated from the forest to the final API.

The process starts with the environmentally sound collection of Taxus canadensis needles from private lands in eastern Canada. Through a joint venture with a privately held Canadian company, InB:Paxis has significant access to raw materials guaranteeing supply to its customers. Paxis Extraction Limited (PEL), in cooperation with the Canadian government is funding research to improve Paclitaxel yield in this species. PEL is also establishing farming operations to reduce reliance on wildcrafting and to utilize high Paclitaxel containing cultivars.

PEL is based in Shippagan, New Brunswick, Canada, close to the source of the yew needles. Initial extractions are carried out at this facility and then shipped to Boulder, Colorado for further processing into crude intermediates which are then sold to customers or processed to finished Paclitaxel API.
